Mount Gambier Police have arrested a man and a woman following a property search.

Just after 11am on Friday, police searched the Mount Gambier house and located drug paraphernalia, an amount of fantasy, cannabis, a .22 rifle, an amount of .22 ammunition, a mini crossbow, a butterfly knife and knuckledusters.

A 31-year-old man, who was currently serving home detention at the property, was arrested and charged with possessing a firearm without a licence, possessing ammunition, possessing a prohibited weapon and breaching an intervention order.

He was bailed to appear in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court on September 27 before his court ordered home detention was revoked and he was taken to Mount Gambier prison.

A 25-year-old woman was also arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled drug and bailed to appear in the same court on the same day.
