The Millicent Golf Club hosted 18 women in a stroke round for the monthly medal.

Val Williams claimed the A Grade with 75 on a countback in wet and extremely windy conditions.

Bronwyn Clarke was runner up with 75, while Karen Altschwager won the B Grade with 73 from runner up Annie MacLennan with 76 on a countback.

Bec Shanks won the nine-hole competition on the front nine with 35.5. Ball winners were Bec Shanks 76, Sue Ireland 76 and Mary Winser 76.

Karen Altschwager was the monthly medal winner with a score of 73 nett. Nearest the pins went to Bronwyn Clarke, Debbie Tincknell and Heidi Muhovics.

Long drive honours were claimed by Kirsty Bailey (0-24), Debbie Tincknell (25-35) and Heidi Muhovics (36-54).

Birdie: Kirsty Bailey achieved a birdie, while Bronwyn Clarke recorded 27 putts for A Grade, and Sharne Peacock and Annie MacLennan had 34 in B Grade.

The club also had two teams make the pennant finals, with the A Grade pennants team winning the 2023 SE Women’s District Pennants, defeating Lucindale, while the Division 1 side lost to Kingston.
