Woman faces Mount Gambier magistrate over ‘serious’ offending allegations

AMount Gambier woman was found sleeping in a car she had stolen, a court has heard.

Lucy Koch-Little appeared in custody via audio link in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court last week in front of Magistrate Koula Kossiavelos.

Ms Koch-Little was represented by Tess Dunsford and was accused of driving or using a motor vehicle without consent, among other charges.

“The allegations are quite serious given the vehicle was stolen from the victim’s home address and that she was found in that vehicle sleeping the following morning,” the police prosecutor said.

Magistrate Kossiavelos described Ms Koch-Little’s criminal history as “shocking”.

The matter was adjourned with the woman expected to reappear in court this week for a bail hearing.
