Art serves as club fundraiser

Fun and fundraising were the key elements of an art class at Southend earlier this month.


Tutor Cindy Bunt guided the 10 participants to paint wombats during the full-day session at the Southend Community Club.


A portion of her tuition fee was donated towards the upgrading of the club’s tennis courts.


Ms Bunt in the proprietor of the Post and Rail which is a cooking, gardening and art school located at Compton, on a picturesque 5-acre property.


Classes are held in a normal home and around the region and are designed to provide a relaxed and sociable learning experience.


Her art school prides itself on its professionalism, warmth, spirit of fun and love of painting, especially with friends, old and new.
