This month’s championship dog shows at Mount Gambier have been cancelled owing to COVID-related factors.
The Blue Lake city was set to welcome dogs of all sizes and many breeds over the weekend of October 22-24.
However, a South Australian Canine Association spokesperson said doubts over the availability of judges due to possible border closures had prompted the cancellation.
The SACA spokesperson said three of the judges were due to come from Queensland.
She said the Millicent dog shows scheduled for November 5-7 would still proceed.
