Climate change open forum set for Millicent

An open forum is being staged in Millicent by Wattle Range Council’s Climate Change Consultative Committee.

It has invited public input into the council’s Climate Change Action Plan.

The forum will be held in the Millicent War Memorial Civic and Arts Centre supper room on November 22 at 2.30pm.

Wattle Range Council’s Climate Change Action Plan was adopted in March 2023 and includes a total of 47 actions, developed in areas that will most impact council’s emissions to achieve its Emissions Reduction Commitment.

The plan is available to view at any of council’s offices.
