Police have arrested a man wanted in connection to a series of crimes committed in the Limestone Coast, after pulling over a driver in the Riverland.
On Friday patrols spotted a Holden sedan travelling at 120kph in a 60kph zone in Loxton.
Police pursued the driver until he stopped on the Old Sturt Highway, Glossop and arrested without incident.
He was charged with multiple driving offences including dangerous driving to escape police pursuit, driving at extreme speed, driving whilst disqualified and driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle.
He also failed a drug test which returned a positive reading for methamphetamine.
Further enquiries revealed the 28-year-old of no fixed address, was wanted in connection with a crime series which occurred throughout the Limestone Coast LSA and into the Murray Mallee LSA between February and June.
He was charged with over 30 additional offences including serious criminal trespass, drive to escape police pursuit, petrol drive-offs and multiple other driving offences.
He did not apply for bail and appeared before the Berri Magistrates Court.
