Export inquiry extended

The all-party South Australian parliamentary select committee which is inquiring into the exporting of wood fibre and other Limestone Coast timber matters has been granted extra time.

The Legislative Council sub-committee was due to report last month.

However, it has been granted a five-month extension until May 1.

Meanwhile, committee member Frank Pangallo, from SA Best, has recently quit this minor party.

Mr Pangallo intends to remain on the crossbench and stay in State Parliament as an Independent.

His current term of office expires in 2026.
