Country Fire Service crews are continuing to patrol and monitor a fire which is contained in scrubland north of Naracoorte, in the state’s Lower South-East.
CFS volunteers have been supported by our partner agencies – including crews from the Department of Environment and Water.
Due to Saturday’s expected elevated fire danger ratings, we ask everyone in the community to remain vigilant and if you see any active fires without crews in attendance, please report to 000.
Further information and updates have been provided to homes in the area surrounding the fire via a letterbox drop.
To ensure your safety and that of CFS and other emergency personnel, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
