Generosity shines with online appeal

The online appeal for the three children of slain Millicent woman Synamin Bell has passed the $22,000 mark with hundreds of donations.

The 26-year-old was allegedly murdered at her Millicent home earlier this month and a Millicent man has been charged with this offence and remanded in custody.

Her brother Luke McGaughey has created a GoFundMe page and paid a warm tribute.

“This senseless act has left a family in pain and three children aged six, four and three without their loving mum,” Mr McGaughey said.

“Synamin was loved by all and those lucky enough to have known her were blessed by her generosity and loyalty.

“No matter what may have been happening in her own life, she was never unavailable.

“Synamin had dreams of giving her kids the life and opportunities that we all hope our children have before them.

“She was trying her hardest with limited resources and support, trying to be the best mum she could be.”
