The Millicent Golf Club last week hosted 18 women to play a par round for the Anne Whitty Memorial Trophy.
It was also the Captain versus President Day followed by a chicken and champagne luncheon.
Heather Anderson’s +8 proved a winning score for the A Grade, with Karen MacGregor runner up with -2.
Karen Altschwager scored +2 to claim B Grade, with Bec Shanks finishing runner up on a countback with -1.
The ball winners were Annie Maclennan -1, Heidi Muhovics -2 countback and Lois Tilley -2.
The nine-hole competition on the front nine was won by Heather Anderson with +6, while nearest the pins on the 3rd went to Mary Winser, second shot, 5th (handicap 25-54) Sue Ireland and second shot, 17th (handicap 32-54) Annie Mclennan.
The Captain’s team proved too good for the President’s team, winning on a countback.
