League honour awarded

The Mount Gambier Softball League held its presentation awards to recognise its best players of the 2023/24 season.


Demons players Billie Jones was named Best and Fairest with 18 votes, with fellow Demon Cody Manning runner up with 16.


Warriors’ Sarah Polderman won the Runs Batted In award with 23 with Demons’ Kezia Feast runner up on 20.


Bandits player Bec Fox had the top Batting Average of .611 with fellow Bandit Maddie Redman runner up with .560.


A special life membership was also handed out at the awards, with Concordes stalwart Sonia Wilson receiving the honour.
