Alocal service club has donated some family sleep support to a local aged care provider as part of its grants program.
Lions Club of Mount Gambier president Stephen Bell attended Boandik Lodge recently to present two Aspire Happy Sleeper Chairs to the facility’s chief executive Glenn Rappensberg and chief operating officer Sandra Parsons.
The sleeper chair is available for use as night beds for a family member staying overnight.
The grant to purchase the chairs was equally funded by the Lions Club of Mount Gambier and the Australian Lions Foundation Inc.
The Lions community grant program is part of the club’s 60th Charter Anniversary celebration.
