Mill workers secure pay rise

Around 250 white and blue collar workers at the Kimberly-Clark Australia Millicent Milll will receive a pay rise totalling 9.5% over the coming three years.

The new enterprise bargaining agreement has been approved by the Fair Work Commission for members of the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union.

The 77 page document details pay rates and conditions with the base annual pay rate for a crew leader (foreman) rising to around $150,000.

An extraordinary call-out to the Millicent Mill attracts a penalty payment of $525.

FWC deputy president Gerard Boyce approved the new agreement at a hearing in Sydney earlier this month.

It was also endorsed by KCA managing director Belinda Driscoll, Millicent Mill manager Adam Carpenter and CFMEU national president Denise Campbell-Burns.

It came into force on March 23 and concludes on June 30, 2025.
