Millicent murder trial

The Supreme Court trial is expected to resume in Mount Gambier this morning (Tuesday) of the man accused of the murder of Millicent mother-of-three Synamin Bell.


Millicent man Cody James Edwards is alleged to have murdered the 26-year-old at her Millicent home in March 2022.


Mr Edwards has been in custody since soon after the alleged murder.


He has pleaded not guilty and the matter is being heard by His Honor Justice Adam Kimber in the absence of a jury.


The trial began last Wednesday.
