Millicent women claim memorial round victory

The Millicent Golf Club hosted the second round of the Heather Walker Memorial Trophy.


The competition was played in perfect weather conditions, with 16 women contesting the stableford event.


Sue Agnew won the A Grade on a countback with 35 points, with Helen Chilton runner up.


Heidi Muhovics took out the B Grade with 37 points from Glenis Skeer who finished with 35.


The ball winners were Kirsty Bailey with 35 points, Robyn Walters 34 and Kathy Webber 33 on countback.


The nine hole competition winner on the front nine was Mary Winser with 19.


Nearest the pin on the third was Kirsty Bailey , who also won the 13th, with nearest the pin second shot on the fifth with handicap 25-54 going to Karen Lock


Heidi Muhovics continued her good day winning the nearest the pin second shot on the 17th with handicap 32-45.


Birdies were scored by Kirsty Bailey on the third, Heidi Muhovics on the 16th and Sue Agnew on the 13th.
