Powering the compact SUV is Nissan’s DIG-T HR13 powerplant – a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine delivering 110kW of power and 250Nm of torque to the front wheels through the manufacturers Xtronic CVT automatic transmission.
These numbers are impressive from such a small sized engine, with the QASHQAI also maintaining a combined fuel consumption of 6.1-litres per hundred kilometres travelled.

Nissan has also dialed-in the QASHQAI handling and power delivery, with the engine delivering a precise amount of power with each press of the throttle, with a little kick from the turbocharged engine when the need arises, with the steering also direct and precise when gliding effortlessly around the city or the open road.
