Regional suicide prevention focus

The Wattle Range Suicide Prevention Network has successfully staged its third training course called Conversations Around Suicide.

It was held on Sunday in the supper room of the Millicent War Memorial Civic and Arts Centre.

The next four-hour course will be held on June 19 in the new recreation room of the Southern Ocean Tourist Park at Beachport.

Thanks to a government grant from Wellness SA, there is no charge to attend as the regular $88 fee has been waived.

Each course is limited to 20 participants and the Network has had positive feedback from those who have already attended the first three courses.
