Strong swell anchors bay sailors to shore

The Port MacDonnell Sailing Club could not take to the water on the weekend due to weather conditions.

Due to the strong winds and three metre swell, Saturday’s racing at Port MacDonnell was called off for the safety of the sailors.

Despite this unfortunate turn of events, some of the members of the club stayed around the club and took part in an impromptu kite surfing lesson.

Hopefully the club will be able to get back to sailing this Saturday.
