Crowd favourite and daredevil stunt pilot Chris Sperou will return to Millicent on November 5 and 6 as the headline performer at the 144th Millicent Show.
His light aircraft will soar above the Gordon Memorial Oval at dusk on Friday and early afternoon on Saturday.
Mr Sperou brings six decades of flying to his craft and he delighted showgoers when he last flew in Millicent in 2018.
It is little surprise that he is a 13-time Australian acrobatic champion.
The 82-year-old aerobatic daredevil was eager to join the Royal Australian Air Force when he was in his teens but did not have the support of his parents.
With flying off limits, the Ceduna-born would-be aviator instead chose the sea, leaving school to become a professional fisherman.
When his family later moved to Adelaide, Mr Sperou moved with them.
As soon as he turned 21, Mr Sperou went out to the Royal Aero Club at the Parafield Airport and learnt to fly.
Nowadays, Mr Sperou is one of the country’s most daring stunt pilots.
He received a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his services to aviation in 2015.
Although in his ninth decade, Mr Sperou still criss-crosses the country to perform at air shows.
