Suspicious behaviour reported

Police are investigating a report of suspicious behaviour in Mount Gambier last week.

Just after 3.30pm on November 9 a boy was walking along Acacia Street when he was allegedly approached by a man in a small red hatchback.

The child ran off and was not injured during the incident.

Police are seeking the assistance of the public to identify the driver and car.

The driver is of caucasian appearance, aged in his late 20s, about 170cm tall, with a slim build.

He was wearing a beanie, black jumper, black trackpants and sunglasses.

The red hatchback has a black racing stripe down the side and a loud exhaust.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information that may assist the police investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers online at crimestopperssa.com.au or 1800 333 000.
