Woman injured in crash

Two faithful dogs remained with their mistress after she became trapped when her vehicle rolled over at Millicent at 3.35pm today.

She was freed from her utility with the assistance of CFS and SA Ambulance Service personnel and walked to a nearby ambulance.

Her loyal dogs were then removed from the utility.

The woman was the sole human occupant of the utility which had come to rest on its side.

It was righted and driven from the scene.

Police said the woman had been driving along Willowbank Road in a westerly direction.

Her vehicle had failed to negotiate the S bend near the former level crossing for the Millicent/Mount Gambier rail line.

The woman was transported from the scene via ambulance.
