The high-level SANFL working party charged with overseeing the shake-up of the football and netball competitions in the South East was scheduled to meet for the first time last night (Wednesday) in Mount Gambier.

Meanwhile, the SANFL is finalising the make-up of three sub-committees to assist the working party with its deliberations.

The Junior Sub-Committee comprises chairperson Heath Sims along with Graham Dowie, Adam Salmon, a KNTFL Junior Representative and netball representatives – Sara Gray (Mid South Eastern Netball) and Jo Gibbs (Western Border Netball).

The League Sub-Committee comprises chairperson Tom Zorich, Country Zone Committee director Scott Duncan (ex officio), SANFL South East Football Operations Coordinator Michael Mourbey (ex officio), Peter Mitchell, Dennis Muhovics, Michael Summers, Graham Gill, Peter McClellan, Nigel Clarke, Jo Gibbs and Sara Gray.

The Senior Club Sub-Committee comprises Zorich, Duncan and Mourbey.

Furthermore, the League sub-committee is to nominate three representatives (inclusive of netball) from each league to participate in the senior club sub-committee.
