Double header reignites season

Double header reignites season

After being shut down  through Covid-19, missing two rounds has  ensured the Mount Gambier Netball Association fraternity will get a double dose of court time when play resumes this weekend to complete the race to finals.

Players head back to the courts on Saturday for round 14, followed by more games next Tuesday night for the Juniors and Wednesday night for the Seniors to complete the season.

It creates a few changes for the Go and Set champions, who have a couple of games left in the season, but have shown passion and willingness to learn.

Finals spots are still up for grabs in 15 and Under and 13 and Under B.

Within 13 and Under B, Amazons has a tough game against Hobitz Blue, Vicis is looking for a win against Zodiacs to increase its chances of reaching the top four, while Intruders and Hobitz Red will  match up in a close battle all over the court.

13 and Under A has produced some fantastic games to  watch and this week will be no different as Saints and Hobitz fight the closest game.

The 15 and Under competition young ladies have developed some amazing skills and Hobitz v Saints will be the game to watch here.

The 17 and Under clubs have their team work down pat and expect a tough couple of games before finals.

Within B2, teams have all enjoyed the season with lots of laughter and enjoyment shown.

Hobitz and Zodiacs will play off in the match of the round.

A mixture of games headline the B1 competition and will be played to a high standard with each player on court giving 100%.

The top A2 teams are playing against those lower on the  ladder, but this does not mean an easy game for them.

In the A grade, Saints come  up against a determined Vicis side.

After a draw last round, Vicis have regrouped and look at what they can possibly do to make the top four.

Zodiacs face a strong Intruders side who have proven tough competitors each week.

The ladies in Blue have stepped up well showing they  will be strong competitors soon.

Intruders are looking to work on game play and increase their winning defensive work.

Hobitz will play Amazons in a warmup to finals.

Amazons will come out with a positive attitude, but this will be tough all over the court with Hobitz yet to lose a game.
