Gallery: Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser at Blue Lake Bar and Bistro

Mount Gambier hosted an Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser last Friday at the Blue Lake Bar and Bistro to raise money for the Cancer Council of Australia.


The sold out event included a trading table in honour of Peter Bayre, raffles, silent auction items, a wine wall, delicious morning tea, lucky door prizes, a lucky dip and guest speaker Elysia Flavel from the Cancer Council SA prevention and advocacy team.

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea Mount Gambier committee members Anna Cassidy, Sarah McManus, Bernie Douglas and Mandy Shelton raised money for the Cancer Council of Australia.
Key 2 Sale sales consultant Sara McManus and principal Gail Richards (right) donated $500 to the Cancer Council of Australia through their Key 2 Kindness initiative which was presented to Cancer Council SA prevention and advocacy team member Elysia Flavel.
Nora Horton, Rose Allen, Barb Crang, Ann Saunders, Lynn Creek, Wendy Richardson, Rose Medhurst, Natalie Zwar and Jill Gilmore enjoyed the event.
Raelene Grills, Louise Wheller, Jill Scott, Sue Charlton, Elizabeth Hodges, Jeanette Elliot, Sue Evans and Maria Gentile were all smiles for the fundraiser.
Rose Case, Ellen Myers, Sue Agars, Jenny Johnson, Jenny Bowman, Vivienne Wilson, Beryl Mahoney, Di Allen, Joan Dixon and Heather Von Stanke raised money for the important cause.
Betty Barrett, Lyn Jones, Cheryl Kemp, Pat Jones, Sandy Carraill, Coral Lynch and Kerry Hill enjoyed a delicious morning tea.
Rita Johnston, Elma Lynn, Pat Bowden, Janet Bellinger, Virginia Glover, Maree McIntyre, Judy Vorwerk, Rosemary Carter and Meredith Dont attended the sold out event.
Josephine Patzel and her mother Maria Belmonte spent some quality time together last Friday at the Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea Mount Gambier.
