Investigation appeal

Police are renewing their appeal for information regarding a hit run crash at Glenburnie last month.

About 5.40am on Thursday, October 19, a man was riding his pushbike on Jubilee Highway East when he was struck by a car and knocked from his bicycle.

The crash occurred near the Blue Lake Sports Park football oval.

The rider, a 46-year-old Mount Gambier man, sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was conveyed to the Mount Gambier Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the vehicle allegedly left the scene without stopping or providing assistance to the injured rider.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash or any other information that may assist the investigation.

Police are also seeking anyone with dash cam footage that may relate to the collision.

It is believed that several trucks passed through the area at the time and may have potentially witnessed the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au or via phone 1800 333 000.

Any details provided will be confidential and callers can remain anonymous.
