Australia’s biggest beer, barbecue and music festival is heading to Mount Gambier in 2024.

Since its inception in 2015, the annual Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival has grown into the largest event of its kind across Australia.

This week it was announced that it will hit the road for the inaugural South East Beer and BBQ Festival in Mount Gambier.

The event will take place in Mount Gambier’s Rail Lands on March 9 and 10 and will be headlined by The Smith Street Band, Regurgitator, Bad//Dreems and Magic Dirt.

The South East Beer & BBQ Festival will bring a lineup of brewers to Mount Gambier rarely assembled outside of capital cities.

The inaugural festival experience will also roll out BMX and skating demonstrations, the Southern Steak Showdown and Backyard barbecue championships, masterclass panel talks with brewers and chefs, a hot dog eating contest, axe throwing, a tattoo parlour, markets, silent disco and the Beer Bod Wet T-Shirt Competition will make its regional debut.
