Wine and comedy festival Grapes of Mirth will be bringing plenty of laughs to Penley Estate in the Coonawarra on Saturday, March 26.
People will come together for a good laugh with some of Australia’s best comedians while indulging in great wine amongst the vines.
Grapes of Mirth general manager Jason Nikolas said he was excited to bring the event back to the Coonawarra after it was rescheduled from its original date in February.
Some big names in comedy will take to the stage including Luke McGregor, Lloyd Langford, Celia Pacquola, Harley Breen, Kirsty Webeck and up-and-comer Jordan Barr, along with Merrick Watts roaming in the crowd.
Attendees will be spoilt for choice with wine from Penley Estate, Raidis Estate, The Blok Coonawarra, Parker Coonawarra Estate, Patrick of Coonawarra and Rymill Estate, poured by the wine producers themselves.
The Side Project will supply beer and cider and Natural Born Grillers will bring platters and an array of other food.
To top it off, DJ Pedro Moshman will be spinning tunes and people can now enjoy a dance.
Mr Nikolas said ticket sales were looking good and they were hoping for around 700 to 800 attendees.
He said the Coonawarra attracted a very engaged crowd with a mix of all ages and said it would be great to see both returning and new faces.
