Mill works hard to improve safety

Millicent mill operator Kimberly-Clark Australia has reported on its safety record at the plant.

“We’re proud of our safety track record at the Millicent Mill, and continue working towards our goal of zero reportable injuries,” said a company report.

“With a further reduction in 2020, we still had three reportable injuries but a 40% improvement on 2019 figures in regard to general incidents.

“Whilst Kimberly-Clark is an industry leader in safety, incidents are an important reminder that we must be vigilant and always strive to improve.

“We want to ensure that everyone working for and on behalf of our company returns home safely every day.”

KCA is one of only 70 companies in South Australia to have the coveted WorksafeSA self-insurance status.
