Millicent landmark on market

AMillicent landmark commercial building is available for sale or lease after being vacant for almost two years.

The office and printing works of The South Eastern Times were built in 1962 and closed in August 2020 when the newspaper ceased production for the time being.

The Scott family of Mount Gambier sold The South Eastern Times masthead and two others to a consortium but retained ownership of the real estate.

The former owners of The South Eastern Times had engaged Millicent firm Zanello and Buffon Pty Ltd to erect the purpose-built building in Davenport Street 60 years ago.

Newspaper printing ceased on the site in 2006 following its sale to Mount Gambier businessman Allan Scott.
