Mount Gambier was the top suburb when it came to claiming the State Government’s sports vouchers this year.
The vouchers offer a $100 discount on sports, dance and swimming lesson memberships or registration fees.
The top five sports in 2021 are Aussie Rules (17,653), football/soccer (9101), netball (7708), swimming (7431) and gymnastics (6226).
Mount Gambier families claimed 1080 vouchers, followed by Mount Barker (862), Morphett Vale (819), Port Lincoln (808) and Parafield Gardens (677).
