Music buffs will have the opportunity to show off their knowledge and raise funds for a Millicent community group on March 23.
Community radio station 5THE FM has booked the Millicent War Memorial Civic and Arts Centre for another quiz night with local muso and presenter Jack Lane back at the helm.
A station spokesman said a similar event in 2023 had been an invaluable money-spinner for the not-for-profit organisation and a huge amount of fun.
“After the roaring sell-out success of 2023’s Spicks and Specks Quiz Night, we think it’s time to give it another crack!” the spokesman said.
“Once again it will be a night of music fun and games.
“Test your mind and see if you and your mates have what it takes to be crowned the South East’s smartest music fans.
“Hosted by Jack Lane, this night will have your minds flying through the best of all decades of music.
“Whether you like it old or new, fast or slow, loud or soft, you’ll find something on the night which will be right up your alley of expertise.
“Just as last time, this ai not no ordinary quiz night.
“We’ll be doing whatever we can to make this a night to remember, with quirky rounds designed to entertain, enthral and maybe even educate, all while raising money to support your live and local radio station, 107.7 5THE FM.”
