Year 12 Penola High School student Cameron Braendler took the plunge last week and participated in the World’s Greatest Shave to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Students and staff gathered to support the event.
“These crucial funds will help give those facing blood cancer, all the support they need, while also supporting breakthrough research projects to find better ways to diagnose and treat blood cancer,” Cameron said.
His efforts have already raised $1619 for the foundation, with more events planned for the near future.
Cameron thanked all staff, students and the wider community who have played a vital role in fundraising for the cause.
