AMount Gambier man has plead guilty to cultivating up to the prescribed number of cannabis plants.

The defendant faced the Mount Gambier Magistrates court unrepresented in front of Magistrate Koula Kossiavelos last week.

The court heard that on February 17, police attended the defendant’s home address on a drug warrant and located three mature cannabis plants, each of which were approximately three metres tall.

The man was sentenced to a good behaviour bond of six months without conviction and forfeiture of the cannabis plants.
