This weekend the regular Easter Cup feature motorbike races will return to McNamara Park Raceway.
The event will incorporate the national BEARS (British, European and American racing series) challenge and Round 2 of the SA State Road Racing Championships.
More than 100 riders have entered, promising large grids and fierce action in all classes.
An event spokesperson said, given the larger than normal number of different classes, a huge variety of machinery will make for spectacular viewing from the many great spots around the track.
“In addition, spectators will be able to wander the pits and see these bikes up close,” the spokesperson said.
“This event also celebrates the 62nd anniversary of motorcycle racing at Mac Park, a truly remarkable achievement for national standard racetrack run by volunteers.
“The Limestone Coast is fortunate to have a facility of this nature, and the club would love to see as many people as possible come out to Mac Park.”
Qualifying takes place Saturday morning, with racing Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday.
Full canteen and bar facilities will be available, and entry is only $10 per day, $15 for the weekend, with under 16s free.
