Generation Thrive program support

Millicent Business Community Association chairman Lee Morgan has again thrown his support behind the Generation Thrive youth leadership course.

“During my visits to local businesses, I keep hearing of the need to train and retain young people for local employment,’’ Mr Morgan said.

“Following on the success of a ‘Generation Thrive’ program in the Tatiara, we have recently had the opportunity to hear of the success of this youth leadership training program with Courtney Grigg of Generation Thrive.”

He has invited businesses who have or are thinking of enrolling young people in such a leadership training course to contact him.

Mr Morgan said it may be possible to work in with the kindred Riddoch Business and Community Association at Penola/Coonawarra and secure course subsidies from Wattle Range Council.
