Discussions about end-of-life care have recently been held by the regional board of the Limestone Coast Local Health Network.
The nature of these discussions has been explained at the request of The SE Voice by LCLHN chief executive Emma Poland.
“We are always looking to improve how we provide health services to the community right across the Limestone Coast, with a focus on maintaining quality and safety for our patients, residents, and staff,” Ms Poland said
“Our work to review palliative care environments in all our services continues.
“We have welcomed feedback from key stakeholders to truly understand our communities’ needs and expectations in the delivery of quality patient and family-centred end-of-life care.”
