All creatures great and small will be welcome at a special blessing of the pets on Sunday.
The service will be held in the grounds of Christ Church at 9.30am.
Everybody is invited to bring their people friendly pets, with dogs on a leash and cats in a cage, to hear three interesting speakers.
Pets will be blessed by Father Neil Fernando at the end of the service.
People may like to bring photos of a pet no longer with them and say a few words about their past pet.
