Repeat offender steered back to court over host of driving offences

A32-year-old Mount Gambier woman has been convicted for her tenth offence of driving whilst disqualified or suspended.

Jacqueline Alicia Tickner appeared in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court presided over by Magistrate Koula Kossiavelos last week.

Ms Tickner was charged with two counts of driving under disqualification or suspension as well as displaying incorrect number plates and failing to answer the question of the identity of the owner/driver of the vehicle.

Magistrate Koula Kossiavelos described Ms Tickner’s history as “shocking” in her sentencing submissions.

Ms Tickner was sentenced to a total of three months, three weeks and one day of home detention.
