Shelton still drives education

Millicent High School’s longest serving principal is now driving school buses.

John Shelton retired at the end of 2021 after 16 years at the helm.

He was elected last month to a casual vacancy as a Corcoran Ward representative on Wattle Range Council.

Councillor Shelton was required by law to submit his register of interests for the public record.

It reveals he has drawn an income from the Education Department in the past 12 months as a bus driver and education consultant.
